Social Media Community Manager

For over 17 years, AutoBidMaster has been a fast-growing, global marketplace in the used and salvage vehicle auction industry. With a team of 100+ international experts, we make buying auction vehicles transparent, simple, and accessible. From bidding to global delivery, we simplify the process of giving a second life to used cars.

We are looking for a pro-active and strategic Social Media Community Manager to join our Marketing team! If you are absolutely in love with building online communities, tracking trends, and using numbers to show results, this is the role for you. You will be the voice of our brand across multiple communities, blending organic crowd marketing with social media engagement to increase our brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• Increase brand awareness and support reputation management through organic presence on forums, Reddit, and other community platforms.
• Moderate discussions and interact with users across Quora, Facebook, Threads, and Instagram.
• Research and identify relevant automotive forums (US-based) and subreddits (such as r/cars, r/MechanicAdvice, r/UsedCars, r/AutoAuction).
• Reddit: manage the company's official subreddit, write comments and posts (cases, stories, personal experience) and drive posts into Top 10 rankings.
• Forums: create and warm up accounts, participate in discussions and initiate new forum threads to engage the audience; place native brand mentions (with or without links).
• Collaborate with our SMM to reply to comments and keep our audience actively engaged on IG and FB.
• Gather trends and insights from social media and competitors to help the team plan content strategy.

Requirements

• 2+ years in Community Management or Crowd Marketing (strong experience with Reddit and forums is a must).
• Strong proficiency in English (upper-intermediate or higher)
• Ability to write naturally and conversationally (with or without AI), aligned with the company's tone of voice.
• Understanding of when and where it is appropriate to mention the brand vs. place a link.
• Interest in automotive industry and car auctions (Copart, IAAI) is a plus.

Terms & Schedule:

Format: Full-time, long-term B2B contract Working Hours: 13:00 – 22:00 CET Holidays: We follow the US calendar (all US public holidays are observed as paid days off)
